Watch (or join) Zimbabwe's most creative cosplayers bring their favourite anime, manga, and game characters to life on the main stage, with contests, photo opportunities, and a costume showcase that's become an OTAKUKON signature.

An expanded cultural experience this year, featuring hands-on Japanese cultural activities and an authentic onigiri-making session led by Embassy Chef Akira — a chance to experience Japan beyond the screen.

📚 Artist Alley & Manga Booth
Browse and shop from 25+ local artists, illustrators, and merchants at the Artist Alley, including a dedicated Manga Booth featuring acclaimed comic artists Bill Masuku and Eli Ngundu of AfroTokyo.

🎮 Gaming Zones
Two full gaming spaces — a free-play lounge and a competitive tournament arena — covering console and PC gaming for all ages, including dedicated youth-focused gaming programming.

🎁 Collectible Tickets & Raffle
Every advance ticket comes with a collectible physical ticket and automatic entry into the OKAF raffle. Gate entry into the raffle is available for US$1 — winners must be present to claim their prize.
